The Astroflame Fire Grille is a robust, fire-rated ventilation solution designed to provide effective airflow without compromising fire compartmentation. Engineered for installation in solid timber fire doors and solid block walls, it delivers dependable ventilation while maintaining the integrity of the fire barrier.
Constructed with a high-performance intumescent core housed within a galvanised steel frame, the grille is fitted with 6mm vermin-resistant steel mesh on both faces for added durability and protection. In the event of a fire, the intumescent material expands to help seal the opening, assisting in maintaining the fire resistance of the door or wall.
Suitable for applications requiring 30 or 60 minutes of fire protection, the Astroflame Fire Grille is ideal for commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and public sector buildings where both ventilation and fire safety compliance are essential.
Installation Guidance
- Suitable for installation in solid timber fire doors and solid block walls.
- Designed to be fitted no higher than 1,000mm from finished floor level.
- The top edge of the grille must not exceed 1,000mm above the floor to ensure certified performance.
