This Pipe Closer is designed to maintain the fire resistance of walls and floors where continuous plastic pipes penetrate fire-rated constructions. The steel shell features a heat-reactive graphite core that expands to seal gaps left by softened pipes in the event of a fire. Suitable for a wide range of pipe types, materials, and installation conditions.

- Fire classifications up to 240 minutes (integrity and insulation)
- Suitable for pipe sizes up to Ø315mm
- Smaller pipes can be fitted into larger closers for flexibility
- Accommodates angled pipes and oversized openings
- Certified for PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN+PVC, PP, and various composite pipes
- Tested for U/U pipe end configurations
- Compatible with gypsum, masonry, and concrete walls and floors
- Internal use only
- Features a split red-coated steel shell with slide-lock system
- Graphite-based intumescent core activates under fire conditions
- Size: 32mm (Depth: 50mm)
Installation & Maintenance:
- Early coordination with contractors, designers, and installers is recommended
- Ensure compatibility with pipe materials and wall specifications
- Fire stopping seals should be inspected and maintained at least every 12 months
- Refer to industry best practices such as ASFP TGD 17 for inspection and maintenance
Competency & Compliance:
- Installers should be appropriately trained and qualified
- Fire stopping products must be installed in line with applicable fire protection regulations
- Designers should assess and manage foreseeable installation risks
