FR Coating (Spray Grade) is an advanced ablative sealant designed to enhance the fire resistance and surface integrity of FR Boards. It’s applied directly to stone wool fibres, forming a smooth, flexible white finish that increases the board’s durability, reduces delamination, and prevents hot gas and flame penetration. Ideal for retrofit situations, it also supports acoustic performance and meets high indoor air quality standards — making it a clean, safe solution for commercial and residential builds.

Installation & Maintenance:
- Can be installed without framing in gypsum walls
- For use only on static penetrations (not movement joints)
- Boards coated with FR Coating should be inspected every 12 months
- Replace or reseal if fire performance is compromised
- Use only as part of a certified FR Board system

- Should be installed by trained fire protection professionals
- Follow all fire stopping and CDM regulatory duties
- Ensure compatibility with the wall/floor build-up and other components
