FrameFit is a fully tested solution designed to reduce excessive perimeter gaps around fire doors, helping you meet current regulations for both FD30 and FD60 doors. It fits directly onto the frame, making it quick to install and ideal for remedial work where door replacement isn’t practical.
Fire doors are often deemed non-compliant when:
- Gaps at the head or sides exceed 4mm
- Bottom gaps exceed 8–10mm (depending on door manufacturer)
FrameFit provides a fast, cost-effective solution—ideal for fire inspectors, contractors, or maintenance teams needing to bring fire doors up to spec.

📏 Profile Options:
- Thickness: 1.5mm (with or without smoke seal), 3mm, or 5mm
- Widths: 44mm for FD30 doors, 54mm for FD60 doors
🔧 Components:
- HE1.5 Intumescent Smoke Seal: For use as the top layer when smoke and fire sealing is required. Commonly used when existing routed seals are removed.
- LM Spacer Profiles: Available in 1.5mm, 3mm, and 5mm. Designed to reduce door-to-frame gaps in various combinations. Use with or without the HE1.5 depending on seal location.
