Astro PS Coat is a fire-resistant acrylic coating designed for use in conjunction with firestop boards or other penetration sealing systems. It enhances the fire performance of service penetration seals by protecting gaps around cables, pipes, and conduits passing through fire-rated walls and floors.
- Provides up to 4 hours fire resistance when used with compatible systems
- CE Marked and tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4
- Ideal for coating cut edges of batt and sealing service openings
- Water-based, low VOC, and easy to apply
- Suitable for horizontal and vertical applications
- Offers added acoustic and smoke sealing benefits
- Can be applied using a brush or trowel
