The Astro Batt is a high-density fire-resistant board designed to reinstate fire performance where services penetrate fire-rated walls and floors. Coated on both sides with a fire-resistant sealant, it provides excellent fire, smoke, and acoustic sealing when used with compatible intumescent mastic or coatings.
- CE Marked and tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4
- Provides up to 4 hours fire resistance
- Suitable for sealing around pipes, cables, and ducts
- Used in conjunction with Astro Coat to seal all raw edges and cut surfaces
- Can be installed in flexible and rigid walls, and floor constructions
- Offers acoustic insulation and air seal as well as fire protection
- Ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications

Note: All raw edges must be coated with Astro Coat for full fire integrity.
