Astro Coat is a water-based, fire-resistant acrylic sealant used to coat the cut edges and service penetrations of fire-rated batt installations. Designed to work in combination with Astro Batt, it ensures the fire integrity of walls and floors is maintained wherever services pass through.
- Provides up to 4 hours fire resistance when used with Astro Batt
- Tested to EN 1366-3 and EN 1366-4
- Seals around cables, pipes, and conduits to prevent fire and smoke spread
- Available in Spraygrade (for quick coverage) and Trowel Grade (for precise application)
- Can be used on both horizontal and vertical installations
- Flexible, durable, and compatible with a wide range of substrates
- Water-based, low VOC, and easy to apply and clean
