FrameFit is a fully tested solution designed to reduce excessive perimeter gaps around fire doors, helping you meet current regulations for both FD30 and FD60 doors. It fits directly onto the frame, making it quick to install and ideal for remedial work where door replacement isn’t practical.

Fire doors are often deemed non-compliant when:

• Gaps at the head or sides exceed 4mm
• Bottom gaps exceed 8–10mm, depending on door manufacturer

Components

- HE1.5 Intumescent Smoke Seal, used as the top layer where smoke and fire sealing is required, commonly used when existing routed seals are removed  
- LM Spacer Profiles, available in 1.5mm, 3mm, and 5mm, designed to reduce door-to-frame gaps in various combinations, can be used with or without the HE1.5 depending on seal location
